OS X Lion 的中文宣传语为何与英文版在意思和角度上差别较大？

英文版的是：The new king of the desktop.
对应中文版：Mac 跃出最深远的一步。
再比如 http://www.apple.com/macosx/
英文版：The world’s most advanced desktop operating system advances even further.
中文版：强劲的全新 Mac 操作系统。
很明显，英文版强调 desktop 的时候，中文版强调 Mac.
而苹果的其他产品宣传语几乎都按原意翻译。

这简直就是最傻逼规定。当然，苹果中国的翻译一向不怎么样，很多页面上的问题都有一股怪怪的翻译腔，而且还不是大陆的味道。

个人揣测，中文世界里，普通用户对“桌面电脑”一词没有概念，所以直译“desktop”是难以理解的。“桌面之王”？你还以为卖德州扑克呢。

我想苹果想在中国推一下Mac这个概念，毕竟很多中国人或许知道苹果，但不知道Mac。别人送我了阿姐一个iPod，阿姐随手就甩给我了，我稍微普及了下苹果，阿姐甚是后悔啊。
